What is an internet phone system (VoIP)?
It's phone service that runs over your internet connection instead of old copper phone lines. It costs less, works on desk phones, cell phones, and computers, and makes features like voicemail-to-email and call routing easy.
Can we keep our current phone numbers?
Yes. We move your existing numbers to the new system and schedule the switch so callers never notice a gap.
Do we have to buy new phones?
Not always. Some existing phones can be reused, and some teams skip desk phones entirely and use the mobile or desktop app. We'll tell you what makes sense.
Is our internet good enough for internet phones?
Most business connections are. We'll check your speed and network before switching, and if something needs a tune-up, we'll tell you up front.
How long does a switch take?
Usually two to three weeks, mostly waiting on the old phone company to release your numbers. We'll give you a date once the order is placed.

What happens if our internet goes down?
Calls can automatically forward to cell phones or voicemail. Add Ez-Connect 5G backup and your phones keep working on the backup line.
Who do I call if something isn't working?
Call us. We'll sort out whether it's the phone, your network, or the provider, and get it fixed.
Does 911 still work?
Yes. We register your office address for each line so emergency calls go to the right place, and we'll update it if you move.

We're still under contract with our phone company. Can you help?
Yes. We'll look at your contract end date and time the switch so you're not paying twice.
Can you look at our phone bill and tell us if we're overpaying?
Yes. Send us a copy and we'll compare it with what a new system would cost.
Do we have to sign up for your Managed IT plan?
No. Phone service doesn't require any plan. Managed IT and the other add-ons are optional.
